Drawing Rooms fundraiser
Con Vivo will be performing a short set at Drawing Rooms' upcoming fundraiser. This local non-profit provides an excellent free art gallery and we are proud to support their efforts. Drawing Rooms is a contemporary art gallery for drawing, painting and print located in vibrant downtown Jersey City, minutes away from NYC. Drawing Rooms features continually developing exhibitions of exciting new works by artists in the NY/NJ area. Art Surge
Con Vivo players will be doing a short performance at Art Surge, a celebration of Jersey City's comeback from Hurricane Sandy. Art Surge will take to the streets with a celebratory procession, mapping a path through the flood zones and interacting with works of art along the way. The procession will start at Hamilton Park end in Liberty State Park with kite flying and other activities that celebrate the natural world and the creative spirit of Jersey City. 2013 All About Downtown Street Fair
Con Vivo will be playing a set at the Historic Downtown Special Improvement District's Third Annual "All About Downtown" Street Fair. We'll be performing Terry Riley's landmark piece "In C" with a range of instrumentalists. Our set is 11:50am-12:25pm. The fair runs 11am-6pm with savor tasty treats from the hottest area food trucks, a jam-packed music line-up, and shopping handmade wares from over 100 vendors lining Newark Ave. Plus, there will be plenty of activities for kids! Performed by Zach Herchen (saxophone), Luke Schwartz (guitar), Mike Sperone (glockenspiel), Jason Belcher (trombone), and Josh Mizruchi (trumpet). More info on our event page.
