Join us on October 24 to support CVM’s 2016 concert season and our mission to present free world-class chamber music in Jersey City. Our fundraiser will be a celebration with performances by CVM players including our founder Amelia Hollander Ames, plus cocktails, light food, and a silent auction. Our performance will include music by Pulitzer Prize winning composer Caroline Shaw, a world premiere composition by CVM's own Mazz Swift, Bela Bartok string duets, and Lansing McLoskey's beautiful Processione di Lacrime... CVM is returning to Groove on Grove with music for cello, vibraphone, saxophones, and electronics. Adam Knauss' White Fog is a stunning dreamscape for cello/sax/vibraphone. Steven Galante's Saxsounds III, for two saxophones and electronic delay, shows how both beautiful and wild saxophones can be. Paul Leary's Number Stations transforms coded spy messages into a driving music for electronics and saxophone. We'll see you there!
